Cheap tickets to the opera
Concert subscribers receive a 10% discount when purchasing an additional ticket for all Philharmonic concerts and chamber concerts (excluding New Year's Eve and special concerts) as well as for performances of the Hamburg State Opera and the Hamburg Ballet.
Save with the youth rate
Music fans under 30 can attend concerts at a particularly favourable price! With the youth subscription, you can attend 5 concerts in the Elbphilharmonie for a total of 48 euros, either the "even" or "odd" Philharmonic concerts. And if you fancy a bit of opera: the combined subscriptions are available at a particularly favourable youth rate with a 50% discount on the normal subscription price.
Ticket exchange
If something should come up, you can swap subscription performances without a limit on the number of seats available. Simply inform our subscription service of your wish to swap by 1 p.m. on the previous working day (1 p.m. on Friday for weekend performances). You will receive an exchange credit in the amount of the pro rata subscription price, which is valid until the end of the season. When redeeming the exchange credit for another concert, you can take advantage of a 10% discount on the box office price for many events.
Right of first refusal
Subscribers have the preferential opportunity to secure additional tickets for operas, ballets and concerts before the start of general advance sales. These additional subscription tickets can be purchased directly from the Staatsoper ticket service, by telephone on (040) 35 68 68 or - new! - online with the Abospezial-LogIn on our website. It is possible to purchase one ticket per performance per subscription seat - usually with a 10% discount. Online purchases are limited to two tickets per performance. At the State Opera, this offer applies to seat groups 1-7. If additional subscription tickets are to be used by children or young people up to the age of 18, they only cost € 10.
Tickets by post
There is no postage charge for additional tickets purchased by post, provided they are booked by telephone or via the Abospezial-LogIn.
HVV included
Your subscription gives you free travel to and from the venue in the entire HVV area, including the express bus, on the day of your concert visit.
